My open horse had a bone chip removed in July.  On September 11th he got cleared to be ridden and we have been slowly legging him up.  If any of you had this procedure done to your horses, how long you waited to run them? I don't mind waiting as long as it takes and be on the safe side.  Also, have you noticed them being weaker on the joint where the surgery was done? I am one of those people that are 1000 times paranoid more than necessary... a total embarrassment :-)
