Just found out my horse has white line disease and thin soles. Looking for suggestions/advice on treatments. Vet said durasole for the sole. This horse was loaned out to a frien for the year and he came back yesterday with a bad enough case he has to have a resection on Monday

He didn’t have it when my friend picked him up a year ago.

I just got done going through this with my guy. First thing my farrier & I did was farrier cut out the fungus. Then I got a product called clean trax. I got mine from valley vet. It's a soak. Comes as a powder, you mix it in a soak boot or what I use is a horse i.v. bag ' they are really great for soaking feet. " It's almost a 2 hr process, but it does the job. I am so grateful to have the farrier I have. He got my horse over it. Very important to keep your horse in a dry enviroment.  Oh my horse has great sole. He just happened to get the white line fungus. My farrier hates it being called a disease cause it actually is a fungus

I forgot to mention that I also started slyder on the O.E hoof supplement. I also had a hair analyst done on him & right away she said, is he having issues with his feet. I was very impressed. I started him on the herbs she recommended & I rode him today & I could feel a huge difference in how he moved. But I would for sure put your horse on a good hoof supplement & keep him on it & magnetic or back on track boots hoof would also help.
