Location: Missouri | I'll be honest. Used it for 6 mos....didn't see any changes to convince me to continue using it. Edited to add - was at least hoping to see changes in coat health, etc. Nope. Then again, the horse was diagnosed with EPM a year after I quit using it, so that is she looked so dull and unhealthy and may have been why Equinity didn't help her at all. So you may take my comment with a massive grain of salt.

So what problems/issues were you having?
I put one gelding on it to see if it would help him, he got a really bad abscess, the infection went into his coffin bone, it was bad, did the limb perfusion and more, he did get better but wanted to help him heal from the inside that helped with tissue, and on top of all this hes got thin soles and hes EMS so wanted to try this since I read such good reiews on it hes moving so much better now and his coat got really shiney dapples so I put my other gelding on it, he was really sun bleached {this summer has been really hot } so wanted to see if it helped his coat and boy did it ever, he got his color back and dappled out within 2 weeks of being on it. I have them both on Forco too and I think being on these too supplements really has done wonders for them. They were both on Forco about two weeks befor I decided to try Equinity Horse XL. I'm going to keep them on it till next summer and make sure its doing what I'm thinking its doing. Just wondering what issues is your horse is having? |

| Both my horses have suspensory/tendon issues. Anyway this is what my farrier says but I have not got that verified by a Vet yet. Both of my horses are also on the Forco and will stay on that and I give 1 oz morning and evening to them. I was hoping maybe the Equinity would help with the swelling/pain issues associated with these suspensory/tendon issues. Anyway that is what I have read that it would maybe help. |

I would have your vet check them just in case he/she finds something different. And I dont want to sound mean, but sometimes the angles of your horses hoofs could be off too causeing the soreness, have you asked your farrier about angles of the hooves on these two horses? I have that happen years ago, I was useing a farrier that didnt know much about angles and he caused my mare to be really sore, I took her to my vet and he spotted the problem right off. So I bought this farrier a hoof gauge, but later on I did move on to a different farrier, I hated it thou, he was a nice fella. You could try the Equinety I think it really helps with the soft tissue but I would get a second opinion from you vet if they are a good lameness vet. Good luck to you. |

| Well that is a problem around here where I live which is Ardmore, OK. There are NO good vets close and especially not a lameness Vet. You would think in this area that there would be one. Haven't found one yet and I have lived here about 10 years. There is a Vet Clinic/Hospital about an hour and a half away and they "say" they are lameness Vets but I had them come out to do a wellness/lameness check up on my 2 geldings and all he did was draw blood and check their heart rate and stomach. They did not check teeth, legs or watch them walk. Just said they were in good shape. Yes they are in good shape but they have lameness problems and tendon swelling and they are both retired. One is 24 and the other is 30, both out on pasture 24/7 and pasture is not much right now but they can pick a little but they come in for a little grain and the Omega Alfalfa/Flax cubes. They are well taken care of and both have nice shiney coats and manes and tails. |

Weatherford Equine and ESMS are both good with lamneness, they'd be about a 2 hour drive for you I think. I'd consider them, I've taken horses to both and was happy. I don't live in that area anymore though. I'm in IL now & I go 4 hours one way for mine, 2 hours wouldn't be bad. |
