Where do you buy your vaccines? I need to get 7 combination vaccines and everywhere I look they are $35+ each.
I'd personally have a vet administer them. Yes it will be more expensive, but most vaccine companies offer a guarantee that if they're administered by a vet and your horse has a reaction needing treatment, they will cover the expenses incurred.
Ive always had excellent luck with valleyvet.com . BUT.... Recently in the last year my vet has her own online store with midwest vet. Excellent customer service and next day delivery pretty much standard. i just place my order and it notifies the vet, she approves, and its at my door next day.

Yes! This year my friend had a mare have a severe reaction to a vaccination, and ended up having to be put down as a result. Vaccination company covered her entire bill. After experiencing this, I will always have a vet administer my vaccinations.
I order from Valley vet. Had the best luck with them. Paid extra at Jeffers to over night plus cooler and gelpack. FedEx delivered to idiot neighbor next door who obviously does not read well (package said refrigerate). Neighbor gives them to me the next day as I left for work. Vaccines were HOT. Called Jeffers and they said no problem. They shipped them again at no charge. FedEx dropped them off at neighbor’s. Neighbor gave them to me the next day on the way to work. Getting them two days after you order kind of defeats paying extra to overnight. This was a shipment for 6 horses at $35 a horse.
