Has anyone ever tried this? A friend of mine ordered 2 sample packs and gave me one of them to try out. They are offering it for $10 apparently. 7 days of the daily gold and a tube of it. I have 1 that I think it may benefit. He tends to get a little worked up when we travel. I'm going to give it a try but I think this is a daily supplement... healing clay.. I haven't looked up much on it yet but figured I'd ask here for starters. I like their salt rocks, I hang a few in my barn and I do know they use them.

I tried the trial pack and loved the difference I saw in my mare in 2 weeks. I now have three horses on it. Very reasonable priced mineral and the noticeable difference IMO is they’re much quieter, and eat better. They also have all really bloomed not only in added lbs but they’re rich color.

I had a horse colic on it after being on it a couple weeks. WHen he finally did pass the maure there were white-ish clumps of the product in there balled up. I was feeding the max dose recommended but was not more than the recommended dose. My vet suggested I stop and I have been using the MVP gastroplex ever since with no proiblems... Way more expensive but no problems. Just my experience.

I know it says "daily" but do you feed it daily or only when hauling? It feels like heavy sand ... I haven't tried it yet but do you wet your horses feed to get it to stick?

That's what I'm worried about! It feels like I'm going to be dumping a small bag of sand into his feed and its claimed to be a "binder" I'm kinda put off by that because I dont want my horses gut to be filled up with this stuff and slowing things down in there. I've searched more reviews and you arent the only one who has said this.

I tried it and saw no difference.

This was my experience as well. Fed two bags worth to give it a fair shot over several weeks. No change in my ulcer-prone cranky mare.

Yea, my horse LOVED it, and I DID see positive results, until the colic. It has a lot of clay in it I think and it just sticks who knows.

I have had good results using it only during high stress times.  Seems to work for my mares better than most acid reducers.

From a price standpoint- compare the ingredients in this product to the Redmond Livestock conditioner. I can get 50lbs of livestock conditioner through a buying group program called Azure Standard for around $20 (you can also get everything from bulk fresh fruit and veggies to livestock feed through them and pick it up once a month).

That being said I didn't have horses in competition when feeding it. I ended up mixing it and Kelp together in a jar and feeding each horse a scoop. I also ordered my kelp from this company. I didn't notice a difference with my girthy horse.

My gelding sweat like crazy on it just standing in a stall. Took him off it and never had the issue again.
