I like this {A good set of Hands} the most important thing ever!!!!..
Most of my bits are a 3 piece dog bone mouth and chain mouths.. All are short or medium shanks.. And love my cloverleaf with a chain and a dog bone..
several o-rings with diff mouth pieces
sweet 6
goosetree bits (all w 3 piece dog bone mouth piece)
cervi short shank (3 piece dog bone)
a hack and a couple combo bits
Sabrina Ketchum told us at a clinic you find a bit to fit your hands not necessarily the horses mouth. I never thought of it like that till she said those words (more/less) but after that I have noticed the majority of the horses I ride get rode in the same mouhtpiece, just adjust shank length depending on what is needed or maybe put a combo on
Jr cow horse
I have a short shank Ed Wright and a little Connie Coombs that are almost the same as the Jr cow horse. Never have liked combination bits but the Don Wasson Teardrop is a nice bit.
Petska Chain bit
Flaharty duke dogbone
Cervi short shank square mouthpiece
These are bits that fit my hands well on a variety of horses. Most everything I ride gets along with the Petska.
