Has anyone used either of these and ran their hay through it so that the hay is just broken down to be easier to eat for a senior horse?

I have used a leaf mulcher. We have really nice soft hay right now so I'm not using it at the moment. Its a Flowtron I think, fits over a garbage can for easy catching
