Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song saying; "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open it seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation."

Our limited minds can scarcely grasp the thought that Jesus Christ redeemed us with the purchase of His own blood.  The writer of Hebrews reminded us that it is 'NOT the blood of goats and calves, but with HIS OWN BLOOD He entered the most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.9:12. Simon Peter elaborated on the point, saying, "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, form your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 1 Peter 1:18-19.  It is NO wonder we WILL BE SINGIING this "NEW SONG" in heaven. Jesus alone IS WORTHY to be the object of our worship. He is the ONLY One who was slain and Who REDEEMED us by His own blood.  This reveals to us the HOPE OF REDEMPTION.  Our HOPE of being redeemed is found IN Christ and IN Christ ALONE. As Paul said, " IN Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" Ephesians 1:7  "REDEMPTION" is the scarlet thread that is woven throughout the entire Bible. The word "Redemption" come from agora, the Greek word for the "marketplace" in its verb form in Revelation 5:9 , the word indicated that Jesus Christ entered the marketplace and purchased us out of the market to be His very own.  As we mediate on the TREMENDOUS PRICE our Lord PAID to purchase you out of the marketplace and take you home with Him, we SING A NEW SONG " You ARE WORTHY, for You were slain and HAVE REDEEMED US to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation" THANK YOU JESUS ....GLORY TO GOD! OUR LORD AND SAVIOR...WE WORSHIP AND PRIASE YOUR MIGHTY NAME AMEN

Father God, guide me today to DO ALL things that will bring GLORY AND HONOR TO YOU AMEN
