Need a little help.   My mare is by Firem Jet  and out of a Sun Frost mare.  Boon Bar/Boon Dox John on her bottom side.  She is 16 hands.  A mare with a lot of substance.  She's really pretty with good conformation.  She has decent speed, but very ratey!   Looking for a stud with lots of bone and good hooves.  With her bloodline, feel he needs to have speed.     A good disposition.   She's only had one foal by ASOF.   He is coming 3.    He came out really nice!!   My mare put a lot of size on this colt.

The studs I am considering so far:  The studs I have listed, I don't know if they have good bone/hooves.

My first choice is Jesses Topaz (Mr. Jess Perry x Paddy's Irish Whisky)   I really like him, but worry that won't be enough speed?   As far as I know he hasn't done anything.   Correct me if I'm wrong?

MCM Ima Hoss - Love his bloodlines, but as far as I know, he hasn't done anything?  Correct me if I'm wrong?

Slick by Design

Shawnee Bug Leo

Looking for something that should have longevity.. So bone and hooves are important me..

Suggestions please.

Thank you in advance

Check out Copper Springs Ranch.  Fury Of The Wind and Prime Talent have sired some NICE foals.  They are offering some special deals.

I absolutely recommend Jesses Topaz! He has great feet, according to the 6666 stallion manager. They said they started him and rode him around the ranch, and he was a dream to ride and handle. I asked why they hadn't competed on him and they said because he was so nice, they wanted to get his foals on the ground quicker, that his progeny would speak for themselves. So far, his babies have been outstanding prospects. At the return to the remuda sale this fall, his foals averaged roughly $13k with two going for $30k and the lowest priced going for (I think) $5600 (yearlings to 3yos). He has three colts in the road to the horse this year, so that will be fun to watch! I haven't heard of any of his foals going to the track, so as far as verifiable speed I couldn't tell you. We bred a DFC mare to him for 2020 and will be breeding a TB mare to him for 2021, so I would be fine with a lot or little speed coming from him

I don't know much about MCM Imahoss, but man oh man, he sure has blossomed into a niiiiice looking stallion. The old picture they used of him (I think he was a long yearling or 2yo) was not flattering, and this new one is a much better representation. He appears very correct and balanced.

SBL and SBD are both great sires (although not everyone gets along with the OTMR in SBD's pedigree).

A junior stallion with a lot of bone and great conformation is Bullseye Bullion (LTE $54k+). Dona Kay Rule took him as a backup horse to the NFR (not sure he ran? We don't have a tv so I just watched highlights the day after).

I have 2 by shawne bug leo. LOTS of bone and substance - let me say it again - lots of bone and substance. My 2 year old is 15-2 maybe 15-3 and probally already 1100 lb.  I tell him he can stop growing any time! Nice big foot to support that body. Great mind.  Don't know about speed yet, but he covers a lot of ground with each stride.   The other is a weanling. Also plenty of size, bone, and a good foot.

My mare is by PC Joes Frost (sun frost x boon dox John), she is our of a lone drifter mare.

I have MCM Ima Hoss on my short list. He is young but is in training so I think he will "do something" in the future. I havent seen him in person. MCM did have really small feet (obv didnt effect her much) but as someone whos really looks for good feet, I would want to see him in person to see. But I love his bloodlines and confirmation.

Also on my shortlist, Lions Share of Fame and Streakin Ta Fame.

If you need speed I'd go to MC Ima Hoss out of that list.

Others to consider for speed and good feet/confirmation:
99 Goldmine
First Moon Melody (young but with that pedigree he's going to be fast, fast)
Johnny Reb Jackson (same as above)
More Nachos (feel like he's a hidden gem for speed)
Oh Whatta Boy (like for DFP on the Sun Frost/Boon Dox)
