Two Republican Senators who were on the fence as far as witnesses or no-witnesses finally commited to sticking with their party and either today or tomorrow there should be a vote that will acquit President Trump from the partisan bogus impeachment charges.  This is great news and will be a relief to many.   I found the whole ugly process infuriating.

Chuck and Nancy are already throwing a hissy-fit and say they won't recognize any acquittal conclusion.  They're being bullheaded, hateful and obstinate.  What else is new?

When Nixon went through the Watergate hearings and debates over impeachment, where was he?  Hunkered down in the White House with a bottle of Johnny Walker Red.

Over the past several months during this impeachment farce, how has Trump been affected?  

- He looks younger.

- He has more energy.

- He signed the USMCA into law.

- He signed a phase 1 trade deal with China.

- He greased the most dangerous terrorist mastermind in the world, leaving a stain on the street.

- He gave the go ahead to chase ISIS leader al Baghdadi into a runnel where a badas$ dog cornered him and forced him to blow himself up.

- He proposed a process for negotiating a real peace between Israel and Palestine that includes $50 billion in investment incentives over 10 years (that's $50K for every single Palestinian citizen), and one which enjoys the support, at least in principle, of several neighboring Arab states.

- He's held raucous, packed house rallies in several cities, including one in the belly of the beast (NJ) where 26% of the attendees were Democrats. 

This acquittal doesn't surprise Trump.  The impeachment hoax was barely a distraction.

The whole thing has been a waste of time and money. Trump will come out of this stronger. The Chuck and Nancy show has failed again. With the Dem's heading for a brokered convention and planning on stealing the nomination from Bernie again they are heading for huge loss at the polls in Nov. It will be a walk over for Trump. And I think the Rep. will pickup the house and keep the senate.

The GOP cowards wouldn't call witnesses. What are they afraind of? The truth seems to be the answer.

But it's all well and good to the blind.

And it's good for all too. The only person in Washington that would be worse is Pence. So trump has one more year. How much more damage can this modern day McKinley do until then?

And there's no Teddy Roosevelt on the horizen.

How will the cowards spin this now? They were afraid of witnesses. I'm sure Faux News and dan bongong can make up some cover stories. 

How it works jd is the Congress (18 witnesses and thousands of pages of documentation, millions of taxpayer dollars) is supposed to do all the witnessing and documenting....then pass it on to the Senate.  It is not the job of the Senate to expand on their investigation....only to review it and make a final judgement.  They did this and did it well.  

Bullish!t.  The lazy as$ Democrats could have called for all the witnesses they wanted in the impeachment hearings.  They could have challenged Trump's executive privilege claims and the courts would have litigated the matter very expeditiously.  Pelosi and Schiff said time was of the essence and the matter had to be passed "by Christmas". They impeached and sat on their asses doing nothing for over a month.  

If I were you, I would be more concerned with your Marxist Green Obamunist party's cannibalizing itself.  The oily leaders of the DNC have much to be concerned about.  Bernie is moving ahead.  Biden is steeped in family corruption, and demented, in all probability.  Warren is dropping.   And Bernie followers are threatening insurrection and revolt. The DNC is once again trying to sabotage Bernie, but he's too big a pussy to call them out on it.

I can't wait to see what will happen after the impeachment proceedings are over. These fools will have to go to work actually representingvthere districts and Trump will be able to get something productive done. I am tired of Congress spending my tax dollars and probably some of my social security on something so idiotic.  The Dems are so desperate that hey will do anything to keep Washington stirred up.
