Has anyone tried this feed?  If so did you like it or dislike it?

I've never personally tried it but I've seen it and looked at the ingredients because it's on chewy. Very interesting feed... pretty simple clean ingredients it seems... I know theres a few of these types of feed companies that are going to be putting out something similar to this very soon. I wouldn't be able to afford it after talking to a lady that is developing her own feed. She admittedly said shes not an equine nutritionist nor a vet but wanted to develop a feed she liked... not sure if crypto is the same situation or not. But I personally wouldnt want to purchase a feed that wasnt formulated by a nutritionist making sure stuff is balanced properly.

But I dont know if that's the case with this feed. I just know this lady who created horse treats that I ended up getting a free sample from told me she was creating this new breakthrough feed lol!  It seems very much like the crypto stuff... she rambled off some ingredients that mimics this feed... peas, carrots, sunflower seeds, copper, zinc, etc etc... I cant remember... she lost me at "I'm not a nutritionist or vet" ..... I'm sure it's a splendid feed but I'm gonna stick to what's working right now lol! I was told its what horses would seek out in the wild... my horse was born domesticated so my guess is, he'd  be screwed if he was thrown into the wild

FWIW, my vet told me last week I needed to consult a nutritionist about feed questions, that her knowedge was limited from vet school. SHe has horses herself. I guess they don't get miuch training in that area. I can see that though.

I am glad to hear a Vet say this. We work with some great ones that take the time to learn on their own. Our company vet can argue nutrition with the best of them, and I know others that can too. But, They do not get much nutrition in vet school, and just “Feeds and Feeding” as undergrads. Many read a feed company brochure and try to talk nutrition. If you find a good one on nutrition, they will be good on most health issues.
