Does anyone feed cubes in the morning and hay at night? Also do you always soak your cubes?

I feed Alfalfa/Timothy cubes and also Alfalfa/Bermuda cubes both morning and night and yes I always soak but I have 2 senior horses.  They don't eat much hay anymore only on occasion.  I have the hay out for them to eat but my 31 year old can't chew it very good anymore and they are out on about 5 acres of pasture.  Plus they get the Omega Alfalfa cubes.

I supplement with soaked alfalfa cubes once a day. I wouldn't replace hay with cubes unless my horse couldn't chew regular hay.
