So, I decided to give TC  a try for my horse about a week ago. I purchased a bag from my feedstore of the complete and it was really nice. I needed another bag and they were out last friday the gal didnt know when theyd have more in so I purchased a bag at TSC. (BIG mistake) I got it home and opened it. First thing was the smell, then it was so oily and then I see whole corn and what lolled like straw  floating around in it. I called tsc and they told me to return it. I was part of this Facebook group for triple crown users or those wanting to learn more about it. I posted pics of the feed and the #'s on the tag to see where it came from etc.. etc... I had several people reach out to me saying they had the same issues with purchasing TC from TSC. I know enough to realize that purina is doing the milling for TC that's available at TSC now, apparently other mills besides purina mill for TC as well. I also know that the feedstore where I purchased my first bag gets their TC from bluebonnet, that explains the difference between the 2 bags. I had, who is supposed to be my local.TC rep reach out to me and tell me she would help me get more feed and possibly come out to my place and also go to the TSC store where I returned the bag to and look.at it herself. They were going to make it right for me. TSC returned my money no problem so it wasnt a huge deal. I know we have someone on here that is a TC rep I've seen the posts. Anyway I posted pics of the TC from bluebonnet to show the difference in between mills... the bags were made only 3 days apart from each other according to the tags... I pointed that out because some were trying to tell me that the bag from TSC was so fresh that it hadn't had time to absorb all the oils yet... both bags were made in the beginning of January btw... I was pretty disappointed in the TSC feed. I told the girl I would give TC another try but only buy it from the feedstore that gets it from bluebonnet. I did not one time BASH TC as a feed company I said I believe it was a milling issue not a company formula issue and my horse was really liking the complete. I had about 6 other people private message me telling me they had the exact same issues with the feed from TSC... from Texas to California. All I did was point out the fact that how different the bags looked and smelled being from 2 different mills. The local feed rep said she would help me make sure the feedstore would have plenty of the TC in stock. I was willing to keep on with the TC complete since I could buy it from Bluebonnet milling it. That's the only way, after I saw with my own eyes how different the feed is when its milled by purina for TC. I go to look for this feed reps info so I could text her and I'm blocked from TC Facebook page and her information she PM'd me is gone so she blocked me as well. UNBELIEVABLE.  If this is how they treat customers,  I'm done with TC. Just because I had an issue with their feed and brought it to their attention? Then they offer me assistance to make it right and then decide to block me on social media.  Several members tried to tell me corn in the bag is no big deal, well it is to me I know what they use to clean lines with in between batches.. I was willing to give it another shot but I'm done now. I wont feed another TC feed. The rep that posts on here chimed in several times on my Facebook posts on TC page so I'm sure she will see this. Yall have terrible customer service and blocking people that raise up an issue? Consumers have the right to know if there are issues with your feed and where you are having your feed made. The bag from TSC smelled like used corn oil, so much in fact it still smells in my pickup because I returned the opened bag to TSC last night.

I just bought the TC lite for my horse who is going through some issues & has to be stalled. Got it from tsc. It was fine. Looked good & smelled fine. I live in okla. I will keep my eyes open though. Thank you for posting your experience.

Im sure the feed is fine, it's just the way it was handled that has me in a twist. I really liked the complete I got from the feedstore, I'm actually disappointed i am not going to feed it anymore. The feed I bought from tsc looked and smelled completely different and had a whole corn and other stuff in it. I pointed that out to them and was told it was fine, it's not fine by my standards then they reached out saying theyd look into it, have the rep out to bring me new feed, which I never expected btw.. I will purchase the feed from the feedstore only, not tsc going forward... I wasnt looking for free feed whatsoever. I was thinking I'd not get my money back from tsc because the bag was opened... I was prepared for that and would have just dealt with it, but thankfully they refunded me. I gave the rep who reached out to me and gave me her phone #, my information,  where i buy my feed etc etc.... I go to look this morning and I'm blocked from them and her. That's terrible business in my opinion and just on principle I will not buy TC now. I noticed before i was blocked that they had removed a few others posts about iffy feed coming from TSC. I shouldn't be surprised my entire post got deleted and I am blocked.

Just noticed my TSC now carries the TC. I am in CA... My local feed store also carries it. I looked at the tags from feedstore AND TSC and they are milled in the same mill so their shouldn't be a difference should I ever need to get it from either. THat sucks they blocked you though. No excuse for that. My horses are doing amazing on the Gastric care ultium, that I now have to order from TX. LOL

I had 2 ladies from California pm me and tell me they had issues with the sr and the TC lite having corn in the bags they bought from TSC. So who knows. Stuff happens, I get it. It's like they dont want to acknowledge there could possibly be a milling issue with the feeds available thru TSC.  I was going to go today and try to buy the complete from the feedstore but I told my husband what happened and he says TC will not get a penny from us. Stinks! The horse had the perfect energy on it, hes typically pretty quiet and laid back. On the RG he got even less energy and he was just picking thru it, which is odd because hes not a picky eater. He was so lazy and just blah.... I figured he may need a little more something  .. the TC looked good (from bluebonnet) and he had really nice energy willing to work and not peter out so quickly and he scarfed it down without an issue. I'm back to looking at Bluebonnet or maybe even the ultium ... is the gastric care soft like textured feed or hard pelleted? I think my horse does better on a softer texture, less dropped and he slows down eating. Tc complete is a 12/12 and that seemed like a good fit for him. I'm bummed out because I thought I finally found "the one" with tc. I just cant with them. I would have understood if they removed my post because it got pretty lengthy and people were concerned .... I get that.. but blocking me? And the rep blocking me? That's just messed up! I even told them on that post I would continue feeding TC but thru the feedstore ... not tsc ... obviously I ticked them off

Yep, the Purina Ultium Gastric care is nice and soft trxtured feed. Just like the regular ultium. My horses have not needed a gastric supplement since being on it. Doing super good. I'm hoping I can find a place here to get it from. TSC is not carrying it anymore I guess and local feed store says I need to buy a whole pallet to order. Right now I get 3 bags at a time from NRS in TX. LOL

I cannot imagine what the shipping is for you! I wonder why tsc stopped carrying it. I've seen it stocked in there forever right next to the regular. Weird. I hadn't noticed lately though because I wasnt looking so I'm guessing TC may have contacted the TSC store where I returned my feed yesterday evening because they asked me for the store. I'm sure the 2 employees working told them nothing was wrong with it. The man who helped me load it up when I bought it asked me why I was bringing it back .. I told him it smelled way off and had corn in it, he said it says right on the bag its corn free... I can pretty much guarantee neither of them have experience with horses or feed other than what tsc tells their employees.. he said I thought triple crown was supposed to be the best on the market .. I didnt say anything and I just left after I apologized for bringing back an opened bag... and thanked them for being so helpful. I saw them digging thru the bag. There was corn right on top so who knows... guess I'm the bad guy for pointing it out

Nope, you did the right thing, I would have done the same. I would not have tolerated it. I was nervous about what mill my feed was coming from in TX, but its actually made in Ft. Worth at the Purina headquarters so I feel pretty good about it.

Sorry the TC Rep. treated you in this matter, maybe shes just inexperienced on how to handle these type of problems, if this happen to me I would have called the main office and talked to them in person and tell them your experienced with this feed that you bought at TSC and what this TC Rep. tolded you, I think they should know that this Rep. was talking with a forked tongue. I sure would not stop using a feed that was working for my horse over a ding-dong, I would just buy the feed from the feedstore, if the TSC in your area is like mine there would be no way in he%% I'll be buying horse feed from them, they dont have the knowledge to keep the  horse feed rotated, now chicken feed i dont care or cubes, when I have gotton a bad bag I just take it back for a new one no questions asked.

NRS is pretty good. I use to have one located about 10 minutes from me.. was sad to see them close up when they did. The people from TC told me every purina mill they use are ionophore free. When I fed the regular ultium I dont ever recall finding corn in it. Now when I fed the other purina lines I was constantly picking it out. On that note, when feeding bluebonnet,  I can honestly say I've never ever had a single issue with finding foreigns in it.

I recently purchased 3 bags of the Ration Balancer that I feed in addition to my RG and it was so powdery.  I can barely get my horses to eat it.  Haven't had this issue in the past.  I'm not planning to continue using it.

I got an email from one of them saying that my feedstore is going to be getting their TC from purina from now on. Welp... there goes that... but they could special order TC from bluebonnet just for me... why would they switch like that? I do not want special orders, I can easily get bluebonnet,  made by bluebonnet delivered to my door... I just need to figure out which one will be best! I wasnt super delighted with the sr feed ... it was ok but I still think I could do better. Leaning heavily towards omega force for this particular horse even though it's not a soft feed.

Well I just found out Bluebonnet is putting out a new feed that will be similar to the TC complete. But less starch and sugars. I'm super excited about this!

I feed the Equilene pelleted and really like it its 16% NSC and theres a Equilene Complete thats a 14% NSC, I guess they dont have the NSC up for the Equilene Pro Care yet, I cant find it. I also feed the Triple Crown Lite to my IR gelding and hes done great on it, just got to watch what type of supplememts, those can really cause some damage if I'm not carefull. Cant wait to see this new feed in person. Hope I can remember to ask about it next time I get feed, lol..

I think I read it's around 13% NSC . I was told it should be ready to be purchased by dealers within a week or 2,.I'm going to ask my BB dealer to order me a bag as soon as she can. I want to try this! It does have the ButiPearl Z EQ in it. Was told it's very similar as far as texture as the TC complete minus the oats.

I've had my horses on TC for many many years. This last year I have noticed that each load I receive is different in some way. To the point where I'm digging through trash bins to make sure I put the correct grain in the correct bin. I have some horses who can absolutely not have corn, multiple times I have found it in bags. I understand the cleaning process for the mills, but if corn is slipping through it worries me what else is. A few months ago I switched to BB. I see what all the hype is about and I'm very pleased, not only is it great quality, but consistent.

The Equilene Pro Care is a 13.5% NSC

I would definitely go to the Pro Care. You know what you are getting with BB.
