Hi,

I am looking at buying a Martin Saddle with the adjustable rigging.  Anybody have any pros or cons from that rigging?   It will be a new total thing for me, I have always tied my cinch strap and have never used the cinch buckles.  Looking for any advice! Thanks!

Every Martin I've had has the adjustable riggin and honestly I do like it. Specially if you're riding a ton of different horses. Double J has a double riggin too. Just another option for trying to fit your horse better. I always was taught the Texas T growing up to secure my latigo, but over the years, I've used the actual cinch ring to secure and I have never had an issue. Now a days, you can get Crown C for pretty cheap... I picked one up for $1k as a back up saddle.

First time I used that type was a Crown C & really did like it.  Circle Y Flex 2's (& maybe other of their models) also have a similar set up and I really do like that it allows me options on my rigging.
