Location: Somewhere between S@% stirrer and Saint | To ALL Faiths have been asked to Fast and Pray that the Lord may help in curbing this Coronavirus Pandemic, Bless and protect the First Responders, Bless the sick and afficted, Bless our economy, help us to get back to a normalcy but be a better people. Fasting is a commandment from the Lord where we humble ourselves before Him by voluntarily refraining from eating and drinking . In the Church today, one Sabbath day each month is set aside for the purpose of fasting. Members of the Church go without food and water for two consecutive meals in a 24-hour period and then contribute the money that would have been spent for that food to those in need. Fasting has been a practice of the prophets of God and members of His Church since ancient times. In Old Testament times, Moses and Elijah fasted (see Exodus 34:28; 1 Kings 19:8). For the Israelites, fasting was often used for certain occasions or for divine assistance. In New Testament times, Jesus Christ fasted 40 days and 40 nights in preparation for His ministry (see Matthew 4:1–4). He taught His disciples about the power and importance of fasting. This commandment to fast continues in our day. How do I make my fast an acceptable offering to the Lord?Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin taught: “Without prayer, fasting is not complete fasting; it’s simply going hungry. If we want our fasting to be more than just going without eating, we must lift our hearts, our minds, and our voices in communion with our Heavenly Father. Fasting, coupled with mighty prayer, is powerful. It can fill our minds with the revelations of the Spirit. It can strengthen us against times of temptation” (“The Law of the Fast,” Elder L. Tom Perry said: “The longer I live, the more impressed I am with the Lord’s system of caring for the poor and needy. Surely no man would think of such a simple yet profound way of satisfying human needs—to grow spiritually and temporally through periodic fasting and then donating the amount saved from refraining from partaking of those meals to the bishop to be used to administer to the needs of the poor, the ill, the downtrodden, who need help and support to make their way through life” “The law of the fast has three great purposes. First, it provides assistance to the needy through the contribution of fast offerings, consisting of the value of meals from which we abstain. Second, a fast is beneficial to us physically. Third, it is to increase humility and spirituality on the part of each individual” Fasting can be a more spiritual experience and draw you closer to God. Consider the following: |

He would have never let this thing get out of control. I will not argue with you at this time because are more import things to focus on. However, let me try to explain some thing. Revelation 12. There was a socalled war in Heaven before this world. 1/3 of the stars(spirits) were cast from Heaven that followed Satan. That left 2/3 of the stars(spirits) that were with Christ. God gives everyone FREE Agency! We can make our own decisions and choices in life but we are held accountable. God knew we would make mistakes and sins; therefore, he provided Christ to be our Savior so when we repent of our sins Christ can atone for our sins and Justify us to God. Christ didn't just atone for our sins in Gethsemane but also our pains, trials and tribulations and sufferings that he may understand our pains so he could succor us in out trials and tribulations. God wants us to turn to him in thanksgiving and in trials. Be thankful be humble br God fearing! God loves us and wants us to be happy. However, we should turn to God in all things. There are really 2 powers on this earth Good and bad or Christ and Satan. We all have to choose. God wants us to be Humble: To make meek and teachable, or the condition of being meek and teachable. Humility includes recognizing our dependence upon God and desiring to submit to His will.

Well let me introduce to Job The book of Job is Narrative History. Its author is unknown yet it is possible that Job himself wrote it. It is possible that Job is the oldest of any book of the Bible written approximately 2100-1800 B.C. Key personalities of this book include Job, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, Zophar the Naamathite, and Elihu the Buzite. In Job, we see a man who God allows to be directly attacked by Satan. He is an example of faithfulness as he loses everything important to him yet remains faithful to God. Its purpose is to illustrate God’s sovereignty and faithfulness during a time of great suffering. • In chapters 1-3, God tests Job’s faithfulness through allowing Satan to attack him. God told Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him” (1:12). Through Job’s trials, all is lost including his health, his wife even tells him to curse God and commit suicide, but he remains strong and faithful, “Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” (1:22). • From chapters 4-37, Job’s friends give him plenty of bad advice, in rounds of discussion. They mistakenly blame his sufferings on his personal sins rather than God testing and growing Job. One of them was half-correct in that God wanted to humble him, but this was only a part of God’s test. • In chapters 38-42, God speaks to Job and restores him. God knows that Job has received incorrect guidance from his friends, “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?” God fittingly declares that humans do not know everything. Then He humbles Job by asking a series of questions that could never be answered by anyone other than Almighty God; for example, “Have you understood the expanse of the earth? Tell Me, if you know all this”. God then brings him to an understanding that believers don’t always know what God is doing in their lives. In the end, Job answers God by saying, “I have declared that which I did not understand”. God then blessed Job with twice as much as he had before his trials began. god gives us freewill we get near to him but he blesses us to |

Location: Arkansas | The Greenville MS police were ticketing "drive up" church goers I guess last weekend. $500 fine. I think it's so very sad when people can drive up to get food or liquor but not worship. Especially on this particular weekend. |

Oh man, I hate sounding preachy to non-believers because I'm sure they are just rolling their eyes. "Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own insight or understanding," Proverbs 3:5-6 I don't understand a lot of things such as why bad things happen to good people. Just maybe we don't understand all the things in God's hand.
It was no rose garden for Jesus here on Earth either. Better buckle up buttercup, because this ride is going to get bumpy, but at the end of my ride, I'm going to a beautiful place with colors not seen on Earth and no sin; where lions lay with sheep FOR ETERNITY!I hope you will join me! Ask God (out loud), I don't believe, but if you are real please help me believe. What do you have to lose? |

If your statistic is real, maybe God sees that we need to be humbled so we will turn to HIM! |
