Does anyone know a saddle brand that has the option for a 7.5" gullet?

I have a wide backed mare that also has substantial withers. a 7" gullet is juuuust a tad too tight for her, I need a teeny bit more room.

Caldwell has 2 trees in a 7.5" gullet. One is a "Rocket" tree, which is made for a horse with a high wither and shape in their back. The other is a "Pro Max" which is made for a flatter backed horse.

Robbie Phillips. and the bar angle can change too. If you call him he's great to work with.

Thanks!

Until you mentioned Caldwell, I didn't realize I lived only 2 hours from their shop- that'll be great for going to get fitted. THANKS!

The gullet size does not equate to it fitting anything!   I know a gal on here (MargoH) has a moose of a horse and he's in a 6.25 gullet.  Martin ruined the industry with their 8,9,10 inch gullets because SO many other makers don't offer those!   Standard is usually either 6.25 or 6.75 and wide is 7 (Circle Y, Reinsman, etc.

It's the bar angle and shape of the tree.   Please speak with individual saddle makers about their tree shapes and the shape of your horse.  Here is a pic (stolen from Margo) that shows the SAME gullet size of multiple saddles, but you can see the different shapes of the trees.

Lisa Lockhart Circle Y on left, Cactus on Right - both 7 inch gullets

No photo description available.

Below Pic Specs -  Top looks the most narrow, has the widest measurement.  Bottom looks huge, has smallest measurement.

Top: 7"
Middle: 6 3/4"
Bottom: 6.5"

Nateracer, thanks for the reminder! Those pics tell a huge story.

I just need a place to start fitting with the gullet, bars/flare/twist/etc will absolutely factor into this! Thanks.
