Miss Norma, I hope you're feeling better after whatever kind of surgery you had
I am slowly getting better ..... but I am thinking that maybe I could "milk" this for awhile ..... LOL Early the 4th (3 AM Sunday morning) I started having severe gastric pain followed by severe regurgitation. I had an episode a couple of months ago and after throwing up all was fine ..... not so, this time ......About 2 PM on the 4th, I had John take me to the Emergency Room. Most people that know me, know that I have a very high pain tolerance so John probably figured, I was dying....LOL....I was whisked away by ambulance to the surgery center in Jonesboro to have (what my Dr. called it) my gangrenous gallbladder removed. All went well with the surgery .....but ...... the next day, I had to go to the bathroom and thought that I would stand up to wait for the nurse..... I told the Dr. that I did 3 pirouettes and one flying splits before hitting the chair and then the floor.....It took 5 nurses and a winch truck to get me back up and off to get x-rays. I am home now and, hopefully, recuperating. Thanks to my youngest son, who drove to get down here from Iowa to cook and take care of us. |
