100

Out of the three choices, Equilix (Performance and original), Vitalix tubs, and EquiPride top dress, which would be your top choice? We have always used the EquiLix tubs (ranch horses on pasture and hay 24/7) and LOVE them, but we've also used Vitalix before we had dealers of Sweet Pro nearby and our horses were always covered in molasses but they looked great. I'd like to keep my performance horses utd on their minerals and vitamins also since I no longer feed a 'grain' and they're turned out on the same pasture 24/7 also. Thanks :)

I feed the Vitalix loose mineral free choice. They go through the lick to fast and I think they waste it.

Of the 3 I would do the top dress. I would be afraid they would not use the licks. At least with the top dress you know they are getting it.

If it was me I'd go with the top dress.

I loved how my horses looked when we fed lick tubs, but in the winter the would tear their feet up pawing the lick.

I tried equilix last spring, we put it out for 2 that were turned out and they wouldn't touch it, but my barrel horses were inhaling it. I was told they would go through the first couple fast then taper off. Mine never did so I quit feeding it. They did well on it but I was going to go broke trying to keep it in front of them
