He actually came out of his fraidy hole yesterday to place flowers at a memorial.  Today he's back in the basement. 

If he's for real the debates will be more than he can possibly handle.  

I think someone should start a thread where we keep track of Biden quotes.  There are dozens of them...maybe hundreds, going back to the 70's.

Serious question, how is it so impossible to get "normal" candidates in for president? Honestly, even though I am a Trump fan, I understandbly know why people dont like him as he does and says a lot of things that rent polictially correct. He has a personality type I appreciate but understant it our of the norm. But Clinton and Biden (and I not a polictical person) but both just honestly confuse me... even my democratic friends are ashamed of them.

Biden came out of his bacement yesterday. Then when back in today. The big news is that he saw his shadow and we are in for six more weeks of winter.

Politics has become so corrupt on both sides it's almost beyond help. It's impossible for anyone going into government to not be destroyed by the evil there or become just as corrupt as everyone else.  I truly believe Trump is the only human on the planet strong enough to stand up to them.  

I'd agree with that. He is tenacious and that seems to be a required characteristic.

I ask myself how in the world could anyone vote for Joe Biden? The man seems very senile, but he's not too far left leaning. So here's my fear:  He'll choose his running mate (Michelle Obama or Oprah), and something will happen to sleepy Joe; then we have another Obama in the presidency. 

Joe is eager to be the old guy version of AOC and that means a lot of things would happen with him as president that would be bad for this country.  He wants open borders and free health care for illegals for starters.  Can we feed and care for the millions maybe billions who would come here for welfare and free medical........nope. If they wanted to work whose job would they be taking? Our country would turn into a third world sewer,  

It was fascinating how quickly the old school hopped on the Biden train when it came down to Sleepy Joe and The Comrade. Pretty sure there were a lot of back door deals made to get FeeltheBern to bow out.  I personally think that Sleep Joe is just a puppet and the DNC is the puppeteer. As long as he has a script and knows the questions he can stumble along semi effectively just saying what has been written in the script for him.  If by the worst chance that he wins this fall I don't expect him to be able to serve his full term and then we will find out who his real puppet masters are...my bet is this goes all the way to the top. Little did we know exactly how deep the Swamp was.

If you think Biden simply "says stupid sh!t", then you are even more stupid than Joe.  Joe Biden has been in gradually declining cognitive health for at least a few years, and, as is common in these cases, he appears to be declining at a gradually increasing rate. That his family, particularly his wife, seem determined to push Biden to continue his campaign is saddening. Biden himself often seems to be completely unaware of what is going on around him, and is struggling to handle the questions he is asked. The expressions on his face seem to be those of a kid pretending to have read the assignment, but didn’t.

Ideally, Biden and his family and supporters would agree that he should gracefully retire his bid for the presidency and leave the Party to determine who should succeed him, but that would leave them with Bernie.....and the DNC knows Bernie cannot win, and they fear his presence in the down ballot races would be harmed a lot. If they can't figure out a way to replace Creepy Sleepy Joe, the Democratic Party may have a nominee who is completely dysfunctional and incapable of public speaking long before November comes.

And the nation will be treated to the spectacle of a once powerful politician dissolving before our eyes into a drooling shell of the man he once was.

its crazy isnt it? I just dont get it other than the democrats have a plan, because you know if joe is elected, he wont make the first year. Whoever they pick as his running mate, will be very interesting. Pray that trump wins again, but, i feel badly for him, how much more can he take? thank god he is a tough SOB. 

Here's the deal on that.  No president has ever been elected because of his running mate, no matter how stark the difference.  The VP running mate just isn't a significant factor...at least so far.

Here's another thing about Biden's VP candidates.  He's screwed. Why?  Because he played identity politics too far and has vowed to select a woman, and an African American.  He put liberal's new re-tooled brand of racism and sexism on full display.  He literally is basing his decision based on gender and race.  Problem is that most liberals aren't smart enough or honest enough to recognize and admit it.  I cannot recall a single instance when a conservative has made that kind of racist or sexist promise.  It just goes to show how stupid Biden is.  If I were a woman I would be pis$ed that he would see the need to specify a woman's gender above the individual's qualities and credentials.  It fits right along with stupid things like quotas and affirmative action.  It is saying to women that they can have lower standards because they have ovaries.  It sends the same message to blacks.

A lot of women and a lot of blacks don't take kindly to this sort of thing.  I don't blame them.  

I watched a small part of Biden "reading" a speech this morning and trying his best to look presidential.  It was total Trump bashing and he blamed Trump for the unrest taking place today and was mortified at the prospect of using military to unsettle peaceful protesters.  Poor Joe, he seems to have missed the cities burning, cops being beaten and run over, and oh yeah the looting.  I just couldn't watch any more than a couple of minutes of this sheer liberal show of misinformation.
