| I remember a story about a man who was brutally beaten then He was nailed on the cross for absolutely NO REASON AT ALL, the ONLY MAN WITHOUT SIN, They didn't riot!! THEY HAD A REVIVAL!! #JESUSISHISNAME...NONE of us will EVER KNOW the pain, and anguish Jesus went through FOR US. HIS PAIN WAS REAL! And caused Him GREAT suffering. Just as Asaph knew through his pain and suffering we can make three decisions: Consider what God has done in the past. V 11 I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wond4rs of old. Next, he meditated on the GREAT works of God, even going so far as to speak them aloud for others to hear. V 12 I will also meditate on all Your work and talk of Your deeds. Finally, Asaph entered God's presence and worshiped v 13 YOUR WAY, O God, is in the sanctuary ; Who is so great as our God? Because he KNEW God, Asaph understood He was working through the pain to show His glory even when we CANNOT SEE God's footprints. V 19 Your was was in the sea, Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were not known. We CAN STILL DEPEND on His character, power, and care. When your pain is great or your pathway is darkened, instead of asking the Lord, " WHY are You putting me through this? Consider asking "WHAT are You SHOWING ME through this?" Though you may find yourself in pain, God has NOT FORSAKEN you.. He has NOT CHANGED in HIs goodness, His love, His mercy.. the SAME God with POWER to make the skies flash and the earth tremble aslo has the compassion to LEAD you in tenderness and love THROUGH the pain you are facing. Father God, guide me to do all things that will BRING GLORY AND HONOR TO YOU AMEN FOR IT IS WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26

Each of us should seek him and pray, that will do more good than anything else you can say or do. But another thing to remember in God's eyes sin is sin. Love thy neighbor as thy self. That means everyone of every color. Running out & destroying your neighor is just as big of sin. That also means destroying things that are important to others, saying things that are hurtful. Look to yourself and judge first and foremost. |

It does sort of make you wonder what a man tortured to death on a cross might think of a white cop (and the people who support him and concoct pathetic conspiracy theories about it) slowly strangling to death a handcuffed immobilized black man, doesn't it?
If you read the Bible and believe the Bible you will accept that Jesus loves the sinner and saved equally. Jesus is equally sad for the St. Louis retired police officer shot to death while protecting his neighbors business from looters. There is not a single person that I know of on BHW that agrees that George Floyd should of died at the hands of an officer who was sworn to "serve and protect". Mecon if you want to pick on someone come at me.....bring it on because I am sick and tired of you trashing my friends on BHW. |
