Nope not nuts at all. These so called good people {Dems} just keeps giving all the thugs and looters out there the green light to keep on causing trouble, looting riots and killing. The Dems dont care they are hiding behind their high walls or sitting in their basements.

How does she get to make that decision?  I dont understand how they can do the things they can do?  She can just say Hey I want that flag, and they give it to her?  How does she have that much power?

Here's my question, if these people hate America so much, why does having a flag that was flown over the capital even matter to them?  What does Nancypants think she's giving it to them for? So they can burn it? Sometimes, I swear, those poeple don't have two brain cells.

I'm so mad I cannot see straight!!! My dad served in the Marine Corp for 25+ years, Korea and 3 tours of Nam.  Both my older brothers served, one in the Army and the other after he did his 6 years in the Marines joined the Army to join the Airborne.  He was in Desert Storm, jumped into Granada and was on the strike team who was after Noriega, in fact we have a letter Gary wrote to my mom on Noriega's letter head.  When Gary passed away from cancer at 54 and they handed my dad his folded flag I wasn't sure my dad would survive that...he slept with my brother's flag till the day he also passed away, so to have this woman politicize this event and hand a folded flag to someone that has not served is a kick in the dang teeth to those who have served, who's family members have served and to any of us blessed to live in these United States of Americaand be protected by such men and woman of VALOR!!! Mr Floyd, as shameful as his death was, was no such man.

Amen!!!! Hugs to your family run n rate, I turly understand what you are saying I too had family members serve in Nam and the Korea War and what this women did handing over this flag was a disgrace.. God Bless all our service men and women past and present..

You must write your U.S. senators or representatives to request the flag. It is possible for anyone to have a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol to honor a person, organization or event. Hundreds of flags are flown over the Capitol building each day in order to accommodate all the requests for these flags.

Ms Pelosi is also requesting (or demanding) the portraits of four speakers of the past who served with the Confederacy be taken down, that eleven Confederate statues in the Capitol Bldg be removed, and she's on the team that wants military bases like Fort Benning and Ft. Bragg have their names changed even though the military has no interest in this move.  Nancy, liberal cities are on fire in the United States, work on that project.  Do something constructive for a change.

I believe the portraits were removed yesterday-- how can she just say "I want" and it happens?   I guess I'm not smart enough to understand all that's going on. . .

Just saw where they tore down a statue of Francis Scott Key, a priest, and U S Grant last night in CA in celebration of Juneteenth.  Wonder if they realize who Grant was?????

Im sickened beyond belief with what's happening in our nation right now.  

I can't believe that Texas A and M University shut down all of its university campuses across the state for his funeral because he ATTENDED (not graduated) from TAMU in Kingsville. Please don't tell me that TAMU has never had anything better than this graduate from their universities. Sure demeans those who did graduate. 

You would think there would be some kind of standard set though, not just a  "Hey, I'm an entitled brat who is throwing a tizzy fit and defaced federal property and some civilain owned property too and I'd like a flag to honor my tantrum"...My dad would have kicked my arse  so hard I'd have had to split his toes to brush my teeth in the morning for behaving the way these people are.
