Going to be ordering a new saddle and I really like the looks of the full rough out. However, wondering how they fair over time? Cleaning, wear etc. Let me know your thoughts please.

Rough out leather is tacky to your clothes like a rough out seat is .. the only way you can clean one is to rough up the leather again when it becomes slick ... it is the inside of the leather so you have to use a leather conditioner on the under side of your saddle which means stirrups only ... get you a tooled saddle and be happy .. 

I was wondering how to clean it. I bought a used full roughout and was wondering how to oil it...Guess I don't? Lol 

Love my rough puts. Easier to take care of, in my opinion and one is a Ed Wright I got new in the late 90's. 

I love Rough out saddles if done right. When mine got dusty I used a air hose on it.
