I recently got in a good wreck and dont think I will be able to start my 2 year old next spring. I want to get on the waiting list for a great colt starter for early spring 2021. I hope to futurity this colt. I want to find someone who really gets them moving underneath themselves with there hindend. I would like to find a good up and come who will really ride and care about my colt. I would like to stay around northeast Texas (we live in Athens).

Thank you!

Someone mentioned whoever starts Cassie Mowry's horses but I don't remember the name. My trainer just wants the buck out. Wants them to be able to stop and back up. She doesn't like to retrain. Wants them started her way.   There is a guy near me that will probably do a good job. We are probably going to use him as we haven't been too happy wit the one we were using. His name is Chris Ford lives South of Marshall. He is a roper and his daughter is a pretty competitive barrel racer.

I highly recommend Tery Muench in Marietta, OK.  He is a hand.  He'll take excellent care of your horse, also!

He's started two for me and I've been around others that he started.  He'll really get a horse riding beautifully!

Dacota Monk will take them, his sister Brittany helps him start them and then he will take over. He takes good care of them, has an indoor arena (can ride rain or shine) and he is honest.

Abigail Plants - she's around the Waco area.  She's worked for several top futurity trainers and has started horses for several pro's also.  She's on facebook or you can message me for her number.
