Location: Bastrop, Texas | Democrats like to pretend they have a long history of fighting racism, but the truth is that it was Democrats who supported slavery, upheld Jim Crow laws, and were so deeply involved in the Ku Klux Klan that the 1924 Democratic National Convention at Madison Square Garden in New York City is called the “Klanbake” convention. Republicans fought against slavery in the south while Democrats defended it, and while Democrats pushed for segregation and Jim Crow laws, Republicans supported the Civil Rights act of 1964. The Democratic Party’s history of racism is undeniable in the picture below, taken at the 1924 “Klanbake” Democratic National Convention. https://thefederalistpapers.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/klan-300x... 300w" alt="" width="600" height="387" />
A recent article by Scott Osborn of I Have the Truth sheds light on the Democratic Party’s true history. TRENDING: Yale Epidemiology Professor Calls CNN Anchor's Hydroxychloroquine Alarmism 'Ludicrous' From IHavetheTruth.com: After World War I, the popularity of the Klan surged due to connections of its public relations leadership to those who had promoted the successful Prohibition Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, becoming a political power throughout many regions of the United States, not just in the South. Its local political strength throughout the country gave it a major role in the 1924 Democratic Party National Convention (DNC). […] The notoriety of the “Klanbake” convention and the violence it produced cast a lasting shadow over the Democratic Party’s prospects in the 1924 election and contributed to their defeat by incumbent Republican President Calvin Coolidge. […] Since its founding in the late 1820s, the Democratic Party has defended slavery, started the Civil War, and opposed Reconstruction. The Democratic Party imposed segregation. Its members engaged in the lynchings of blacks and opposed the civil rights acts of the 1950s and ’60s. During Reconstruction, hundreds of black men were elected to Southern state legislatures as Republicans, and 22 black Republicans served in the U.S. Congress by 1900. A FEW DECADES LATER, THE ONLY SERIOUS CONGRESSIONAL OPposition TO THE LANDMARK CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964 CAME FROM DEMOCRATS.Eighty percent of Republicans in the House of Representatives supported the bill. Less than 70 percent of Democrats did. The Democratic Party did not elect a black man to Congress until 1935.
The true history of the Democratic Party is an embarrassment to modern Democrats who pretend that conservatives espouse bigotry. |

Demos trying to rewrite their history..... They supported slavery, were the KKK, fought against women's right to vote.... it goes on and on. Their policies are destroying our country's largest cities one brick at a time. It's amusing to me that their "leaders" are filthy rich yet lecture us all on income equality..... their leaders have security protection, yet we should have not police to protect us..... do as I say, not as I do. You can bet their leaders will remain filthy rich in their socialist society while the rest of us fight to survive. They try hard to focus everything on Trump -- urging everyone to vote against him. This election is not about Trump -- it's about saving our country, it's about supporting Republican policies (cities and states under Republican policies are thriving!!!) |

Thats the dem party doing what they do best. Lie. Change the rules aka history, because it's inconvenient. There was no party switch. It's a fabrication. If you want to research more watch your choce of Dinesh D'Souza documentaries. I recommend "Death of a Nation". Or Hillary's America. Here's a short clip of him with the answer to your question. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPZBhQiAels OH! I found the full length documentary here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfbIS3GD4yU Funny how Youtube blocked my original search for this until I searched for the specific title. Dem censorship again. |

Yet Hank Johnson still gets re-elected. Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) is raising some eyebrows with a comment he made about the U.S. territory of Guam during a House Armed Services Committee hearing last Thursday. In a discussion regarding a planned military buildup on the Pacific island, Johnson expressed some concerns about the plans to Adm. Robert Willard, head of the U.S. Pacific fleet. "My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize," Johnson said. Willard paused and replied, "We don't anticipate that." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hank-johnson-worries-guam-could-capsize-after-marine-buildup/ |

Racism is still vital to the Democrat party, just as it was 60 years ago. Without racism they cease to exist. It is the ultimate form of pandering. They don't care about blacks so much as they want them to vote as a monolithic block. Anyone daring to venture off the Democrat's reservation is ascribed a variety of labels, such as "Uncle Tom". Conservative blacks are vilified....castigated....attacked mercilessly. Condi Rice was literally portrayed as an "Aunt Jemima", for example. Joe Biden said, "If you don't vote for Joe Biden, you ain't black". That is raw racism right there, yet he gets away with it. Why? Because he's a Democrat. Hillary Clinton famously gave a speech before a black crowd and used a faux black delivery. It was embarrassing. Why did she get away with it? Because she's a Democrat. Prior to the passage of the 1965 Civil Rights Bill, LBJ is rumored to have famously promised: "Give me this bill and I'll have them n*ggas voting Democrat for 100 years". Did he say it? Maybe. Does it sound like something he would have said? Absolutely. LBJ appointedThurgood Marshall to the Supreme Court rather than a less famous black judge by saying, “when I appoint a nigger to the bench, I want everybody to know he’s a nigger.” The Democrats have successfully used blacks as a monolithic voting block ever since. Truth be told, no president has done more to improve the lives of African Americans than Trump.
Let the whataboutisms begin.

Scary ain't it. I've seen a lot of pure hatred in the Dem party and don't think anything is quite as unnerving as Jerry Nadler. I don't know how he survives. Elijah Cummins and John Lewis were eaten up with this kind of hatred. After a while it takes its toll on you. |
