Today is
Back at it after a great trip with my family and some really close friends. But man was i in a bubble. lol We only listened to the NBHA station and listened to the runs being broadcast. So no outside news got in. I come back to reality and INdiana is in a mandatory mask state. and Talmage was refused entrance into the show.

He actually was there and then someone "turned" him in. He was then asked to leave. He stayed in the local hotel and was able to see his "team" after they came back to the motel.
I have not read the whole "disclaimer" they made you sign to go to the facility. It might have said something about a time frame for him to be there after being treated.

Thank you for the clarification. I no we signed an affidavit when we arrived. I couldnt tell you exactly what it said as I scanned and signed and was more worried about getting my horses outta that line and off the trailer asap. They were baking with no air flow from not moving.
Did I miss something?
Also congrats to all the youngsters that hauled down there and competed! Hope to see y'all at open world next year
It's crazy that Texas and Oklahoma are no longer players in NBHA youth world. Sort of sad.

The whole feel of youth world was a little off this year. There was very little state participation in the spirit parade and what would have had the arena floor filled with excitement and kids was held outdoor and was just a distanced walk through. I think that nbha did the best they could with state restrictions that were in place. Vendor participation was down. that building was half full. But even with all that we had a good time. But when you get on a fairgrounds and dont let any of the outside world in, it sure feels like everything is ok...... the bubble effect
I'm so so glad NBHA went ahead with this event !!! So proud of everyone who attended and did their best to stay safe and help our youth have a little normal in their lives

Crossspur, I talked to Sherry Fulmer after the spirit parade. She said they had a stack of paperwork 2" thick of protocals to put in place and called the govenors office the monday before and said, if your going to shut this down, it has to be today. After today i cant stop them from comming.
There was also a family from North Dakota who came and raced.
Do TX and OK not have any NBHA districts at all or just nobody makes the haul?

It's not popular at all. Most of quit going because the pay out was small compared to the other D jackpots
Wonder why the payout is low as they have to payout 80% unless it is over $5000 added then it is 70%

Basically there are "open" shows that pay more money than the NBHA in the area, They have more added money than NBHA.
