| Last weekend there was a baseball tournament in town. I was talking to a couple of guys from Las Vegas and they said the following. "you know its bad when you have to go to Utah to do something outlawed in Las Vegas". My bet is rodeo is off for 2020. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | I think I heard or read somewhere that the NFR will happen and the PRCA will crown champions, but it might not be in Vegas. I would assume if the NFR is shut down, the all in & world series will be cancelled, and over course no cowboy christmas. Lazy E seems to be picking up a lot of events, maybe the NFR will run there? |

The NFR doesn't exist without the payout. The payout comes from the contract with Las Vegas events. No las vegas, no payout, no rodeo (at least as we have known it in the past). |

Location: Oklahoma | Another scenario could happen is they just keep the year going into 2021 and combine for 2021 NFR. I think ACRA or CRRA is doing it that way. I cant remember which one. |

The bad part about doing it that way is a lot of contestants count on the money from the finals to get them ahead or aleast break even. really there doesn't seem to be any good solution |

even if they had it there with the payout they usually have, theyre down so much from where they should be i doubt anyone breaks even this year. |

| I wonder if they will wait to announce to keep people going? If they said no NFR some might just stop going and they want to keep the industry going as long as they can. |

Location: Rc | I agree with the previous posts. I know they started the countdown on their Facebook page, but I am thinking that it will NOT be in Las Vegas. On the other hand, WPRA also allowed rookies to participate in the race for rookie of the year for 2021. Thing is, this years rookie earnings will not count for next year (if the rookies do decide to participate).
