There used to be a board member who had the word Sunrise in her name and lived in Nebraska.   She and her husband had lost their medical insurance because of horse accidents.  She came up with a large tumor that needed to be removed and couldn't afford a hospital here so she and her hubby went to India to have it removed.  It was very cheap and she said the care was great.  I'm sure someone on this board would remember.  It was probably 10 years ago.

well i had blue cross blue sheild when i had mine it paid 80% i paid the rest  i was on  ssdi after 2 years i don/t rember the first 2 years i know i had too pay for my wheel chair and bathchair well the had fund raisers for me but i was on  medicare sine 2003
