what is the average size of a blanket/navajo top saddle pad for average size horse.  he is 15 hands out of a cutting stock. So he is short back He not little or big.  thanks

Most pads are 30 x  30. Which I happen to know because I have dropped rigging and need a 32.

I always went by the size/length of the skirt on my saddles. I would measure the length of your skirt and depends on how much you want to stick out from under your saddle, with those pretty Good Medicine blankets I would want some of the pad/blanket to show..

yes! they are pretty the ones I have found have been 38x34 so Im not sure.  If your pad too big would it make your saddle roll?  Also, Ive noticed that some people have pad showing almost to the top of the girth. 

My new saddle supposed to be her next week so I think Ill wait til saddle gets here and then look again.
