He wrote," That I may know Him and the power of HIs resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed ot His death, if, by any means, Immat attain the resurrection from the dead. Not hat I have already attained, or am already perfect; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that which Christ Jesus also laid ahold of me." Philippians 3:10-12. The pursuit of righteousness is a lifelong journey that is filled with discovery. Often the lessons we learn are a result of bad decisions we have made. Nevertheless, God has a way of changing the value of poor choices when we honestly tr to live according to His Word. God will help you overcome anything that blocks your way if you will incline your heart toward Him. Paul said that he had not yet reached the point of perfection, so he kept PRESSING ON to take hold of Christ. Likewise, your journey in the pursuit of righteousness will REQUIRE PESEVERANCE in order to reach the prize. "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14. Spend time reflecting on your desire to grow in Chirst. What stands between you and the fulfillment of that desire? If you identified something blocking your path, ASK God to HELP you overcome it so that you cand gain VICTORY over it. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE POSSIBLE Matthew 19:26 |
