I did and you didn't answer the above question.  If you want to get into the subject of pollution, you have to get much broader than the oil and gas industry.  Insecticides, trashed electronics, runoff from livestock operations, lead based paint, sewage.  When they wash down the human feces and drug contamination from the liberal streets of San Francisco, where do you think the runoff goes.   Right into the bay where people fish and boat.  Biden was grasping at straws on that comeback.

The problem that Biden's campaign is facing is that they are trying to offset all the statements he's made in the past about getting rid of fossil fuels, banning fracking, transitioning away from fossil fuels, etc... Staements like “We would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated", are well documented on video.  He said we need to get to zero carbon emissions by 2025. That's 5 years away.  Everyone has seen his remarks, and now he's trying to deny he made these assertions.  No matter how he tries to walk those promises back, he's stuck with them and people whose lives depend on fossil fuels are taking notice.  He wants to put in 500,000 charging stations for electric cars.  People aren't stupid. They don't like the idea of having to charge their cars for 4-5 hours every day at home.  They don't like the idea of having to stop every 90-300 miles (depending on the car) for an hour to charge their car, even at a "super charging station".  People recognize that the electricity for these cars comes from fossil fuels.  Of course, I haven't even touched on pickups, trucks, and tractors. Then there are problems encountered with electric cars in extreme cold weather.  Add to that, the fact that people aren't excited about paying $30-40,000 for an ugly sh!tty looking little car.  I could go on and on, but the way I see it, the free market is the ultimate answer....not politicians and politics.  I happen to like the idea of solar power, for example.  I'm getting to the point where I'm willing to shell out the money required to go off the grid....IF my solar power is adequate to meet those demands.  I don't need a government program or mandate to convince me.  It just makes a lot of sense.  Companies in the solar power industry can make their case, and consumers will gradually decide....based on cost and quality.  The same with electric cars.  Tesla doesn't get nearly as much in government subsidies as they used to.  They rely upon their appeal to consumers.  Electric cars don't appeal to me at all, but maybe that will change.  That's the beauty of free market capitalism.  I love it.  

Then there's this notion of untold $trillions going into retrofitting millions of federal and private buildings....basically the Biden-Sanders manifesto.

Yes and no.  I was actually yanking your chain a bit.  I have been coming to this forum during an election year for years.  Out of curiosity I wanted to see if you would react as you always do when questioned because your choice of fact checking appears to lean your support to a specific candidate. I really don't care who you vote for.

As far as referencing anything in your comment; why bother?  Anyone that has taken the time to study and learn the candidates knew Biden would be walking it back the minute he felt the heat.  His feigned outrage for sick people never dinged my bell he is so predictable.  Empathetic Joe with his outstanding character that tells a plant worker he is full of $h1tt or telling another voter instead of addressing his concers tells him to go vote for Trump doesn't fool everyone.  I would much rather see action from Joe just as we have seen from Trump.  Good or bad Trump has given us something tangible to judge him by.

That was a far cry from a deflection.  I grew up on a farm one half mile from the Skelly Refinery in El Dorado KS.  There were two refineries on the outskirts of the city and it was no different from living in any U.S. city other than there were lots and lots of jobs at these facilities.  There was no way to answer this question logically.

 Yesterday I watched Biden give a gaffe-laced speech in the cold wind in Pennsylvania.   I didn't watch for long.  He said "I don't like smart people" so there was no point in continuing to listen to this angry guy.  I tuned him out.   

I loved it when Trump turned to Biden and he told Biden you and Obama are the reason Why I ran for President and WON!!! That was so cool of Trump

He was raging and has been a lot lately.  I noticed Jill was happy to step up to the podium and speak while Biden wandered around behind her.

I wouldn't trust the FBI with my pet rock!  They had Hunters laptop during the impeachment and never said a word, if Trump wins he needs to clean the FBI out starting at the top.
