It would be VERY nice if everyone would put aside their political differences today to celebrate and THANK the many veterans that have allowed us to voice our opinions ...... Today is Veteran's Day ..... Honoring those who have served!

My Aunt Rachel who served in the WACs in WWII.  Her husband Alvin was a Pearl Harbor survivor and so interesting to talk to.  They're both gone now but what special people they were.

Add to that, the most decorated soldier of World War II  Audie Leon Murphy.  My childhood hero who could also play a great movie cowboy and ride a horse.
