How do you price a horse that has returned from injury? Had rear suspensory injury a couple years ago. Discovered later that his palmar angles were negative. Got that adjusted. He has returned back to competition and is running just as good or better than before. 9 yo gelding. Running at 300+ races anywhere from bottom of 1D to bottom of 2D.

I also think he could do a touch better with someone else....maybe get up in top of 1D. Is it worth sending him somewhere to put better runs on and sell for me?

I'd price him for what hes worth as a barrel horse and disclose his medical history and encourage a pre purchase exam.  Then you can negotiate down from there if needed. JMO. You can always go down on the price but you cant go up...

Price him for what he is.  Also depends on the area you live in.  Disclose his injury.  Encourage a pre purchase .  Bottom 1D/2D would probably bring 15,000 to 20,000.
