Location: Where Tall Corn Grows | I am in the let's just wait and see how this is going to shake out, since COVID has such a high survival rate. I'm not throwing caution to the wind, we are careful and keep to ourselves just as we always have. As farmers we social distanced when it wasn't cool. |

Location: Mississippi | No way I would get an experimental vaccine for something with.a survival rate in the high nineties percentile. |

Location: Kansas | Well dang, the terrorists incarcerated at Gitmo are being offered the vaccine before I'm even being considered. O.J. Simpson got his, a Mexican radio host flew to Florida and got a vaccine because they were too slow in his home country. The pecking order is a little weird.

Location: In The Snow, AZ | My family went through Covid. My dad is in his early 60s. He, his wife, and her 98 year old grandmother had it. My mom, 59, and her husband. My brother, 35, and his wife. Myself and my husband, 32 and 36. The 98 year old grandmother had next to no symptoms. Out of everyone, my dad probably had it the worst. He is healthy, active, and has called in sick one day in his entire life. After getting Covid, he was in bed for a few days and had a nasty cough. Felt exhausted for a week or so. My mom has respiratory issues. Not really any changes for her, aside from tiring easily. The rest of us had varying symptoms. Basically a strong cold or low grade flu. Cough, congestion. Headaches, backaches. My brother said his eyeballs hurt. The worst for myself and husband was the loss of taste and smell. I thought, cool, this will help me shed that 5 extra lbs. Haha! Nope, I had to test my taste with everything I could find. ; ) In a nut shell, no, me nor any of my family will be getting the China virus vaccine. I do have a few liberal clients who are all about it though. Praise be to Joe Biden for saving us all. |

Wow Bingo, it really buzzsawed through your family. My 81 year old sis-in-law had it very mildly. She was definitely at risk because of other health problems but is okay. My nephew and his wife, their son and daughter both had it. Came through it fine. However, my husband's cousin and brother got very sick. Brother was in hospital for four days, cousin 71 passed away. I'm on the fence about the vaccine and may consider the J & J since it's only one shot. I like to read the opinions on this thread. |

| I got my second Moderna vaccine Wednesday. I had no side effects at all with the first shot but the second one kicked my butt a bit. However, it was very tolerable with some ibuprofen and Tylenol and I didn't miss any work. |

Very possible. Vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting infected, it lessens the disease. |

It takes a few weeks before immunity takes place |
