What's the deal with those saddles? I found one that will fit my horse, (I'm still searching for "the one")  we tried on a few of the Josey saddles while at the clinic and I just didn't care for the overall fit on this horse. I've heard and read the Crown c will throw you forward and legs back? I don't know anyone who has one for me to try.. just looking for a few opinions on them.

It is my main go to brand of saddle because it does not throw me forward and push my legs back.  If my seat size is correct and stirrup length correct then I am able to sit deep in my pockets and stay secure.  If it fits my horse then that is what I use.  I bought one of the first demo's made and have never looked back.  Occassionaly I might have to look at other brands depending on my horse but that is rare.

Just depents on you, but I'm a lover of my Crown C. I have not been running barrels in a few years but I loved my Crown C when I ran, I have Double J's Pozzi's and my Caldwell, and love the feel of these too. I just like to collect saddles, lol. , do have other brands but never ran in them.

I love the looks of this saddle I found but won't be able to try it before I buy it. But it's got a 9.5 gullet. It's a 15 seat which is what I've been hunting for.

Once i rode in a Crown C, i sold all my other saddles.  I don't know if you are aware of this Facebook page or not... "Martin saddles for sale" on Facebook. Lots of good saddles on there.

I don't know why you would need such a large gullet.... All of my Crown C's are 6 7/8 or 7" and they fit everything i put them on.

I had a very wide mare. I think she had a 9 or 9.5 gullet. The saddle fit her great, but not me, threw me forward and legs behind me. I am sure it was because of how I ride. The saddle was a great quality and very comfortable. Do not buy unless u can actually make a run in it

I ended up passing on it. It actually looked way too wide. I found another double J, ended up making a deal on it! I'm pretty excited so it'll be here Friday.
