Hi I have a question.... I've always wanted to barrel race and I even have been working with my horse on it but I'm wondering if it's allowed for a woman to barrel race in a skirt with leggings underneath. Due to my religious beliefs I don't wear jeans 

I have seen this done before. In Indiana there are a few who ride with this outfit all the time.

I have a friend that barrel races in long coulottes. She always looks very nice. 

This is also very interesting to me.

Some associations specifically say jeans in the dress code, therefore I would speak to the association before the race for clarification.
