Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I have 2 more questions for you Win, I have been looking for Treats for my Metabolic gelding and saw you have a Renew Gold Bisquits, would they be ok for my gelding, he loves treats when he gets pulled out for riding and his baths but I worry about the other treats thats out there, worried about the sugar that alot of them have. So I was checking your Bisquits out And another Question, I remember the thread on how to measure out the Renew Gold and I think someone said that theres a Renew Gold Measuring cup to measure out the RG so that you would not have to be guessing how much you are feeding??? |

Hey STX! I'll take on the measuring thing . . I got a 16 oz semi transparent plastic cup, got out the scales, filled and made marks on the cup at 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb and 3/4 lb, which is half of the normal feed amounts (assuming splitting daily amount into two feedings) with this system! |

Cool deal!!! I tryed that a long time ago and I could never get it right, lol..So I was always adding more Last year I found these at TSC and they always seem off to me so I would weigh the amounts on my little scale and always a few oz's off one way are another (I think its my scale). So I wonder are they true to the weight of different size pellets? |

I have a habit of looking at the bags of feed I get to see is anything has changed,LOL, and BlueBonnet has changed up a few of their bags but different designs not the feed it self.
Win so the new formula upgraded feed bags will have a different listing on the back thats in white background? And the plain Renew Gold will still be the same, as in no white background? Do you have a simple you can post on here to show folks?
I am out of the office. I will post pictures both here and on the web site (renewgold.com) on Monday. The white area on the back of the bag will be the area that says Ingredients and the guaranteed analysis underneath that. 4" wide by 5" tall, can't miss it if it is there. Not much is out through the stores as yet. Win |

| Win, I also have a question, why Diatomaceous Earth added to the feed? |

Win,
I also have a question, why Diatomaceous Earth added to the feed?
a small inclusion of DE helps slow down parasite development between regular deworming treatments. This in turn allows a certain amount of improved digestive efficiency by lowering the parasite activity. The inclusion is very low, but effective in maintaining an efficient hind gut. This is not a replacement for regular parasite control, but a disruption in their life cycle that can positively reduce overall infestation. |
