Advice on a horse that had EPM about 5 years ago?

Said to have recovered in a month, while on treatment.

Only has mild atrophy on rear end, tiny grape sized indentation. Shows no signs currently.

There seems to be no way to account for or compare. It's hard to find info about an average case of EPM. I doubt that any atrophy or indentation today is from EPM five years ago.
