Has anyone ever fed this? I'm in the middle of a laminitic episode with my good gelding due to a ramdom reaction to a steroid. Just my luck. ANyway, I saw this today at Tractor supply and decided to research it a bit. Its made just for laminitics and metabolics, its 8% NSC and is fortified with EVERYTHING they need for forage and you don't have to soak anything. LOL I've been searching for grass hay he will actually eat, soaking it, seeinf if its been tested for sugar etc. THis is an expensive alternative but takes a lot of the guesswork out. Just seeing what everyone thinks. THanks! I might even use this as most of his feed and leave some teff for him to nibble on. Thanks!

Just wanted to say, the Triple Crown products at Tractor Supply are not milled by BlueBonnet, they are milled from a different feed mill, I would check with Triple Crown and see where their products are being milled at that the TSC in your area is carrying, I know that you worry about where you feed comes from so just wanted to let you know.

Yes, I have used it on some really old horses with bad teeth. We sell a lot to people with cushings and other problematic type horses. I was happy with the way the horses ate it, he put on weight with it after he was unable to eat regular hay and had a choking episode.
