I have never had an acupuncture treatment done on a horse. My vet suggested it so was hoping someone could give me insight on cost etc. I was referred to another vet for this. Thanks.
I have paid anywhere from $80 to $200 depending on what the horse needed and that did not include the initial evaluation, trip fee or if I had the horse adjusted.
I've got a gal that specializes in that near me, she does a lot of cutting horses. I haven't tried it yet but one thing she did suggest was doing it shortly after a chiropractic visit for best results. Her visits would cost me roughly $55. Give or take ... depends on the horse and its needs.
In the North TX area, I pay $150 - that is a for both chiro adjustment and acupuncture done in one session by a former vet who keeps his license so that he can now do this.
I do remember paying about $55 for just an acupuncture treatment, but that was about 15 years ago.
