Actually, in a sense, it is racism that is very likely at the heart of the hidden identity of Ashley Babbit.  It's also hypocrisy, but not in the way you and your neoliberal cohorts want to suggest.  If the alleged killer of Ashley is a black man, then one must ask if the identity had been hidden if Ashley would have been black and the killer would have been white.  Practically everyone knows what would happen under that scenario.  The identity of the killer of a black woman would be known before the sun sets, if he turned out to be a white man.  BLM and race-baiting Democrats would have demanded it.  You know it....everyone knows it.  Withholding the identity of any cop who shoots a black person would never be tolerated, particularly if that cop is white.  That violates the basic tenets of CRT amongst today's race baiting Democrats.  If it turns out that Ashley's killer is indeed Lt Micheal Byrd, a Black man, then all of this would explain the attempts at hiding his identity. There's no way in hell that Darren Wilson's identity would have been hidden in the aftermath of the killing of Micheal Brown in Ferguson Missouri, because he is white.  Even though he has been exonerated, even by Obama's DOJ, he is no longer a cop and has been living in seclusion.  
To be clear, Ashley assumed risk when she joined in on the storming of the Capitol.  My point is, had she been black, and the cop who shot her been white, you can bet your ass the identity of that cop would have been known a long time ago. Treating people with a different set of standards predicated on skin color is pure racism.  Your party, the Neo-Marxist Democrats, want to change those basic tenets and treat white people differently purely on the basis of whiteness....Critical Race Theory.  They are trying to actually use racism to combat racism.

Martin Luther King must be rolling over in his grave.  His admonition to judge people "on the content of their character, not by the color of their skin" is being relegated to the ash heap of history.  Racism, in the form of CRT is being taught in our schools and universities.
