My husband’s horse seems to be fizzling out part way through his runs. We know he has some breathing issues as he had tie back surgery in 2018, which was successful (or as successful as possible). Prior to the surgery his did have some bleeding from his nostrils.

He’s been running pretty strong the last two seasons but for whatever reason this season he seems like he’s not getting all his air. He’s 16 and in great shape.

We’ll be giving the vet a call come Tuesday, but I want some information on products to help him out. A friend recommended Lasix, which I know nothing about other than it causes horses to urinate like crazy and this guy isn’t good about drinking water when traveling...

Talk to me about Lasix, pastes, supplements, flair strips, nebulizers and the like!

Invest in a good nebulizer. I have the equiresp. The small unit. It's the size of a deck of cards. My horses have some allergies and you never know what they will react to when you get to the rodeo. So my vet prescribed me the albuterol that you use in nebulizer.   I give it 1-2 hours out and works amazing  ventipulman might be an option for you as well.

I use the complete. It's the mask with the small unit that attaches directly to the mask.

Give prebiotic probiotic like fast track.vitamin B 12, biohesper C/K vitamin E pure, rose hips, Re-Coop, DMG 1000, calcium/phosphorus. You'll have re-adjust your brakes if you feed this daily
