| I was the one looking for a feed similar to BB's Intensify Growth (24$/ bag). This stuff does not have the stride supplement they make in it (it's also $16/bag). However, it is a 16/8 with a 15 fiber. It has a decent amount of copper in it (low copper connected with bone issues in foals). It also has the same beginning ingredients as BB Intensify Growth which makes me more comfortable in where the fat/ protein is coming from. It is alfalfa based the same, with middlings & hulls for fiber. It is a larger pellet. Maye 3/8 sized? I bought my first bag today. I'll keep this post updated for anyone interested. |

| I had to double take the date on the original post. I bought of a bag of the BB growth and development (intensify) and it was $30, our filly wouldn't touch it much to my disappointment! It smelled wonderful. I tried for several days to get her to eat it and she just refused. I had to move her over to the sr feed for a while. She's probably the pickiest horse I've ever tried to feed. We've gone thru several trials with this one. She finally settled on BB intensify 14/8 pellet. She loves that... (for now) |

Location: LouLouVille, OK | When I first got my weanling a couple years ago, he was this tiny little guy... I started him on the Blue Bonnet Intesify Growth & developement because I couldn't get him to eat the Omega Force and he LOVED it! And it really helped him fill out and grow up... let me see if I can find a Oct of weanling year picture to Spring of yearling year picture to show you! |

| I wish this filly would eat the growth. She might now, but I'm not going to waste another bag or $30 to try to find out. When we got her she was eating purina well solve because that's what the mare was being fed. So maybe that's why she was use to extremely bland feed. Who knows! She seems pretty content for the time being on the BB intensify 14/8. Thinking about moving them all onto the omega force for the lowest feed rate. I don't feed anyone here 6+ lbs a day of hard feed anyway. |

I guess my opinion is as long as its a decent feed, and they eat it.. that's all that matters. I just wanted to stick to BB since that is what I was feeding everyone else.. (so I didn't have to stop at another feed store LOL) so I picked that because of the alfalfa base... I used to feed all horses and babies sweet feed years ago.. they turned out fine. Omega Force is like 29 a bag but only feeding most of mine 3lbs max a day it's still the most cost effective for me... |

What type of scoop do you use for the omega force for the 3lbs? I was trying to figure out just how much 3lbs was. I read approx 3 kitchen cups are equal to 1lb of OF. |

https://www.bigdweb.com/product/feed+scoop+surescoop.do?sortby=bestSellers&refType=&from=Search&ecList=6&ecCategory= I want to say a 1.5 scoop is the same as a 32 oz cup... let me check that later to be sure.. but we get the plastic "large" cups when we eat at Fuzzys lol.. and it's the same and I think they are 32 oz... |

Thank you! He's 110% personality lol and I have this exact scoop... https://www.bigdweb.com/product/feed+scoop+surescoop.do?sortby=bestSellers&refType=&from=Search The little ones seem to hair up alot more then the older horses... I never tried the elite brand of their feeds, but I hear its really good too! Keep us posted on your little one! |

Location: SE Missouri | This was a filly that was fed from gestation til yearling the BB Mare and Foal. Then we switched her to the Growth and Development as a yearling. here is her weanling and as a two at the trainer. We were super happy with the results. The next picture is a yearling in JUNE (he's an april baby) that was on G&D from gestation on. I actually became a dealer I love teh results of the feed so much. I was driving over an hour one way to get 2 ton at a time. The cost per day is why I switched from Mare & Foal to Growth and Development.
