Would love to start incorporating some magnetic therapy into my program. I have a BOT sheet but I mainly only use that in the winter time since it generates so much body heat.

Wondering what the biggest differences are in using an XLR8 sheet, VS a PHT sheet. XLR8 is half the cost so I'm leaning more towards that. Any differences in magnet functionality, performance, placement, etc.?

I can really only say things about XLR8.  I bought a XLR8 sheet becuase I cannot afford a PHT sheet at this time.

We used it at the Josey ranch for a week and he never once got sore. He never got hot in it either. I will be buying another one for my mare!

I love them!!!!

The sizes do run small so make sure you measure.  Vegas wears a 69 in winter blankets and really could use a 76 in xlr8 (it is kinda tight in the shoulder area).

He has a 74 on in this picture.

I have had PHT and absolutely LOVE them!! I still have my original one from 15 years ago!! That being said, I ordered a new PHT with lumbar/ shoulder magnets for my mare, measured correctly and it still didn't fit. Tried it on my gelding since the mare was out for a little while and it didn't fit him either. Sold the PHT, bought the XLR8 in his correct size and it SWALLOWED him!!! Started running my mare again and it was the same on her. Just got a new XLR8 in her same winter blanket size and it fits her perfectly with another one coming for my gelding. I have never seen my gelding relax or have so many releases with the PHT like he does with the XLR8.

My friend bought the XLR8 and had to size up... that was NOT my experience. It may be that the bigger sizes run true to size and the smaller may need to size up.

For the money, you can't go wrong and your horse will love it!!
