Location: California | I don't normally get into peoples business, let alone post on a public forum inquiring more info. However, it's been ALL over Facebook about drama from who should be thanked when a horse wins. I assume that's going back to the breeder, to the colt starter who put 90 days on and so forth. It's obvious this is all stemming from something, so who is this about? I wouldn't normally ask it's just all I've seen for days on FB, except where everyone's vague on who they're talking about. |

| I think it goes back to the NFR girls who have a laundry list of people to thank for their successes. Which, obviously, to be on the Pro Rodeo Road, you have to have a ton of backers, but the list of tags/hashtags on some of them was a mile long. Which it has to be because those girls get paid to promote in order to get paid with the sponsorship. But some people are dumb and think it's fun to make fun of people who are doing things correctly. |

| Famous Lemon Drop. Summer Hatch had her going really well when Dacota Monk got her. Everyone gives Dacota all the credit. While he definitely did a great job and deserves recognition, it wasn't like the mare was green broke. Summer is rarely given the recognition she deserves in the part she played with that incredible mare.

I've somehow missed this... all I've been seeing is people fighting to the death over an article about the possible dangers of feeding a 100% alfalfa diet! |

Oh thank you! This makes sense. Just trying to connect the dots I was like are they mad Jordon didn't thank the breeders of her gelding? To be fair I have no idea who she thanks in her speech as I didn't pay for the NFR this year just watched it recorded. I could see both sides of this, people definitely deserve credit. Either way I thoroughly enjoyed watching that mare run this year! |

I've heard most of my life straight alfalfa is dangerous but know people who have done it for decades with no issue. I feed high amounts of alfalfa daily but I always have it in the back of my mind that it could be dangerous so I make sure to give Timothy with it

| It was an article shared by a Bluebonnet rep on their page and holy moley they came out of the woodwork swinging lol I actually felt kinda bad for the gal.. the article was taken way out of context I think... and then was shared multiple times on different pages ... lots of arguing and accusations. Crazy lol! I feed alfalfa when I can find it! Which isn't very consistent |
