My first time dealing with this? I'm currently using a Vetricyn product but this is going to get pricey going through at least a botttle a week. What's the quickest way to get rid of white line that doesn't involve trying to soak hooves because that would be impossible in this horse.
"The exposed sensitive laminae will need to be treated for any infections by applying topical iodine daily for a week or until the exposed laminae are dry and healthy."
I use my Rickens since I always have it on hand. It has iodine as an ingredient, and also eases the discomfort, if any.
There's a product called B gone that's really easy to apply and effective. Also look up Redhorse products. They have some excellent hoof care products.

I'll look it up. I thought B gone was only for thrush
They have B gone white line treatment in a 60cc syringe and then they have sugardine for thrush. B gone hoof clay in a jar for white line too. I've used the syringe for 2 that came in with white line and it definitely helped get it cleaned up faster.
