Training the "hypersensitive" horse? ones that "internalizes" everything and then just explode..... I have found conflicting information.... some say its a "trust" issue, others say u can only train 20% of the horse and the way they are is the way they are, others say desensitizing is not the best bc u are putting the horse in a "scary" situation and flight takes over (i totally disagree), etc....... "internalizers hold stress thus causing digestive and foot problems along with pain and chiro issues from the constant tight muscles" "internalizers are HARD KEEPERS due to the fact of they need to move fast to get out of a situation so their neuroendrocine system jumps into hyper drive -> so they burn stored fat, proteins and carbs at incredible rate - so again leading to "tight or tense" muscles and digestive issues What to do and What not to do????
