Just wondering if anyone has tried these saddle pads & what do you think?  I'm thinking about ordering one but trying to decide between this brand or something differant.

I have one. And absolutely love it! It sweats out so evenly. Definitely suggest getting one

Which one do you have?  I'm trying to decide between the Element or the next 2 nonthing.

I saw a video on fb yesterday that warns people the lace that holds the 2 sides together is too loose or stretches out and cuts into a horse's lower back. Multiple brands of pads have this issue on random pads.  Shop carefully.  Check your equipment ladies and gentlemen.

I had one and loved the concept, especially since I ride a little higher withered, longer shouldered horse.  I kept noticing my saddle was sliding way back and dumping down in front.  Took me letting my horse stand tied without being cinched tight and coming back an hour later to see my saddle way back and sitting funky.  Thought it was the saddle being too wide, despite it looking like a really nice fit, or my horse's shoulder/wither or both until I went to a jackpot and saw a couple of horses tied to the trailer with different brands of saddles, all with these pads, and all saddles had slid back and were sitting downhill.  I changed to my 5 Star and haven't had that issue since.  My horse never got sore while I was using the pad, but that made me quit using it.  May be better on a little rounder made horse, but wasn't a great fit for mine.  I thought the pad was really nice quality and again, I love the concept of the longer cut back.

I had this happen with another pad with a similar built. The spine leather or stitching stretched, and the leather began to rub on my mare's back just behind her wither. I won't ever use a saddle pad built like this again.

You can see the wear mark and raised hair just slope of her wither. Ignore the T scar.
