| We all know rodeo and horses are expensive. Very expensive, and when you aren't winning money back, it becomes even more expensive. My mom and I work very hard (I train the horse, and she has a job) We just bought a trailer, and we are working on a truck. Does anyone have any tips to make any sort of money in the horse world!?
Also as a side note, I'm saving up (trying to at least) For a new deeeeep seat saddle. I want it to be really nice, but I just cant afford one right now. I am currently using a not so good saddle and It is making my horses back sore. Does anyone know where to buy a nice saddle for cheap? It can be used! |

| Maybe you could train for other people. I know I'd pay to have someone keep my horses in shape. I wouldn't pay very much...but I'd pay. |

| A very nice entry level saddle is the Corriente. They have different seats and seem to fit most horses. Have you thought about working at a barn or stable feeding horses and cleaning stalls? Hard work but you will learn a lot. |

Location: USA | It takes hard work and dedication to get anywhere. Maybe there is a reputable trainer you can work under/apprentice with that’ll help you get your foot in the door. Just keep at it if it’s something you want to do. There’ll be more lows than highs, especially when starting off.
As for the saddle, you can find a good used Shiloh Contender for around $1200 or so. Good deep seat and keeps you balanced. |

Location: Kansas | Sheridan saddles are on the cheaper side, half upfront and the other half before shipping. I love mine. How old are you? Do you have the ability to take school courses towards a career? |
