Who does everyone use for Mortality Insurance?  Any tips for picking the best coverage/policy?

I have Markel, comes with 5k i think toward colic surgery and i added extra $$ for surgery in case 

I was looking at getting this too but after I got the quote I backed out. Following this for ideas ??

I went with American Reliable which was about $150 per year less that Markel.  They had the same coverage.
