Location: In the middle of what matters most. SD | Thanks for the input. I told my husband I found the saddle pad that I wanted and that I got a good deal on it for $160. He thought it was an April Fools joke. He doesn't think it should cost that much. It wasn't the color I wanted but It fits better into my budget than a new one right now. I can't wait for it to get here. My other one (Tod Slone knock-off) is splitting down the middle because all of the stitching is coming out. If I come across any more used ones, I'll post them here. |

He wasn't too impressed with the $80 PHT bell boots either. He thinks I am nuts. Just wait until I tell him that I'd really like to talk to the horse phsychic. He just shakes his head when I mix up my feed for my stud. I just added another supplement this month. He wishes I spent that much effort on feeding him. Oh well, he knows where he rates on my list!! |

Location: Texas | Just FYI...I was planning on ordering a saddleright pad. Didn't really want to spend that much on a new one, so I was really searching for a used one. But all of the used ones I was finding were never in the color or size I wanted. My friend had a sand colored one that she was wanting to sell. I was able to buy it from her cheap enough and then send it in to saddleright. For the cost of a "recover" ($85), I get a brand new pad in the size and color that I want. They call it a "recover", but they really just send you a new one in whatever you want. This worked out great for me, but the key is finding the used one cheap enough. Just wanted to let you know that if you can find a used one cheap enough, it really doesn't matter what size or color it is, since you can send it in for a "recover" and get exactly what you want. |
